Community of the Cross of Nails (CCN) Plea for help!
The next (CCN) International Gathering of Partners will take place in Coventry from 24th-28th May and Mothers' Union members have been asked to help in two ways - hosting an international visitor or helping to serve refreshments. If you can help in some small way, I know Anne Short would love to hear from you. See flyer for details.

Advent Service
Thank you to everyone who participated in our Advent Service at Holy Trinity Church, Attleborough on Monday 28th November. There is a photograph on our home page of all of the new members who were enrolled by Karen at the service. It was a joyous occasion, and it was lovely to see so many members and friends.
These are just some of the gifts donated at our Advent Carol Service for children of prisoners at Onley.
16 Days of Activism Against Gender Based Violence
The 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence campaign started on Friday 25th November (International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women) and runs until Saturday 10th December (International Day of Human Rights.)

Several Mothers' Union branches have been displaying an empty red chair in their church. It is symbolic of the 1 in 3 women suffering domestic violence but not having a voice or feeling welcome. The chair signifies the absent victim.
